lost his heart to Early Music almost thirty years ago.
Since then, he gained a lot of experience from
the most diversified backgrounds: musical pedagogy, completed university studies in philosophy,
theatre work as actor and director,
and contemporary music compositions.

1985 he founded Ensemble Complesso Dramsam, specializing in medieval music.
With his own group and Ensemble Sarband,
whose member he is since 1987,
he recorded numerous CDs and
performs concerts worldwide.
He also is vice president of the Accademia Jaufré Rudel
and artistic director of the Festival di Musica Medievale
del Castello di Gorizia and the Festival di Torrechiara.
